Throughout the Survival Spanish series Vivian looked more anglo than hispanic, as in the photo above. The picture below however captures an instant when her Cuban-American heritage shows through more clearly. Looking and sounding like an all-American girl from the midwest,  Vivian had become so fluent in english that at times it was hard to believe she had a hispanic background at all. Fellow Americans, take another look at these pictures. Can you think of a better reason to normalize relations with Cuba? I'm all for it.
