This shot from Lesson 23 remains one of the best. It was the centerpiece for a picture titled Spanish Rose I made back when I was fumbling around trying to figure out just what this website was going to be. Another flowery picture (I never came up with a good name for it) featured Vivian in a white blouse and with a totally different hairdo. FreeFoto.com has many beautiful nature photos you can use. An image intended for the main page of the original Vivian Ruiz.com didn't survive the final cut because it was too large.

Dorothy Hamill, along with being a world class ice skater is also an author and boy does she have a story to tell. ["Taken advantage of by her philandering second husband who stole her money?"] That's only one of the trials and tribulations she has faced. I had no idea. Like everyone else I thought her life had been a fantasy come true. It's all in her new book, A Skating Life. Go here for more information. Incredibly, in the time period since it was published she was diagnosed with breast cancer adding to her woes. But thanks to its early detection she's going to be okay. Best wishes
