Part of another goofy picture titled Lost in Cyberspace that was on my original site, it goes well with the material below. In this shot Vivian looks a little lost and annoyed herself as she stares at the camera apparently waiting for the director's cue.

Women we love

What teenage boy in the 1960s didn't want to be lost in space with Angela Cartwright?  As Penny Robinson in Season 3 of Lost in Space she traded in her drab little girl clothes and (below)

nondescript hairdo and blossomed into the most beautiful astronaut you ever saw. I loved her and so did a million other young boys who were entering the time of life when they start to notice such things. Go here to visit her official website.

(Right) A fine reproduction of the old Jupiter 2 spaceship. Make no mistake about it, Hollywood sets the moral and behavioral standards for America. Coming when it did in my formative years, the Lost in Space TV series shaped my ideas of heroism and courage. The Robinson family's sacrifice, hard work, and pioneer spirit made them heroic. But Dr. Smith's greed, laziness, and fearfulness made him the bad guy. Those old fashioned values have never left me. But times were changing. In society those values were in the process of being swept away, probably the reason this show went into a tailspin of silliness and virtually self-destructed.

Trivia:  Lost in Space had an above average musical score which seemed out of place in such a goofy show. It was composed by a young fellow named Johnny Williams. Today we know him as John Williams who went on to space out a whole generation with music for movies like Star Wars and Superman.
